Bravo's Emmy-Nominated Shows -
Bravo scores a new record breaking total of 12 nominations for the 61st Annual Primetime Emmy Awards.

Just for fun--my fun probably, but it's my stupid blog! so....
I'm working on a scrapbook for my kids, and this was in it--I thought I'd put it here (below), because the shows nominated were so great!! My dad worked at CBS - check out the shows nominated in the year 1963! - with some other old stuff thrown in.. if you read this blog, you know how much I adore old stuff, and it thrills me to discover the similarities of now and then, old housewife/new housewife, we change, but we are exactly the same. Look at your grandmother/great grandmother's lives & really think about how they lived their lives day-to-day--no diswashers, microwaves, DVR's, Blackberries, CPUs, cellphones, AND NO BRAVOTV! I am amazed by the women who came before me. I thank them for the life lessons that they have taught me! The timeless beauty of Grandma Wrinkles!

Have you heard of Truth or Consequences New Mexico?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Truth_or_Consequences,_New_Mexico
Truth or Consequences is a spa city in and the county seat of Sierra County, New Mexico, United States.[1] As of the 2000 census, the population was 7,289. It is commonly known within New Mexico as T or C.
Originally called "Hot Springs", it took the name of a popular radio program in 1950, when Truth or Consequences host Ralph Edwards announced that he would do the program from the first town that renamed itself after the show. Ralph Edwards came to the town during the first weekend of May for the next fifty years. This event was called the "Fiesta" and included a beauty contest, a parade, and a stage show.
